The TORR large umbrellas are manufactured in the UK by Bambrella Ltd; the designer and manufacturer of the Bambrella range of parasols, widely known to be the strongest commercial quality parasols available globally. Bambrella Ltd was formed in 2008 by former wooden boat builder, Rupert Bottomley – founder and CEO of The Woodstocks International Group, where he began manufacturing exquisite garden furniture and parasols in 1996 in Indonesia.

Rupert’s vast wealth of experience gained, over many years, inspired him to design and create the TORR brand of large commercial umbrellas. Bambrella uses unique patented designs and innovative technology to manufacture umbrellas of unrivalled quality. All the umbrellas are produced in Bambrella Ltd factory in the UK and are rigorously tested to ensure superior, unsurpassed quality.

A Word from Rupert….
After years of reselling large umbrellas manufactured in different parts of Europe, of which did not last the test of time and had many problems, I knew we could produce a large umbrella which used more modern designs and materials that was available in this industry. In 2019 I started the design process for the TORR range, which took 3 years to perfect every mould and part used in the manufacturing. In 2022, we expanded our manufacturing operation in the UK and by the end of 2022, the TORR umbrellas were in full production.

At Bambrella Ltd, we strive to improve and enhance our brands and product ranges. As the lead designer, I am always working on a new ranges of parasols which can be a sustainable, long lasting shade solution for all aspects of our lives.

Our customers can be assured that all the materials used in the production of our umbrellas are the best available, as they are all marine grade. We design all the umbrellas to withstand more than what is expected of them, in the many differing climates and conditions around the world.
